What We Do

At Jacob Way Organization, we provide financial and mental health support to childhood cancer families and equip the professionals who serve them with the trauma-informed tools they need. Because no one should face childhood cancer alone.

For Families

We walk alongside families from diagnosis through every stage of their child’s cancer journey | offering financial relief, mental health resources, community connection, and care packages through our Caring Hearts Initiative and Wellness Connections Series.

For Professionals

Through Jacob Way Education Hub, we train social workers, educators, nurses, and healthcare providers in trauma-informed care using our proprietary A.A.R. Method™ so the people surrounding these families are equipped to show up with skill and compassion.

Together, we close the gap between a diagnosis and the support that follows.

Inspiring Stories

With your kind donation we are able to afford transportation to some appointments and we are more able to concentrate on our son Alexander's care instead of having to worry about which bills to pay and which bills to hold off on. No matter what size gift we receive, we are forever grateful for the kindness of the people involved in the gift decision making process. We give a huge heartfelt thank you!

My son has been fighting cancer for almost 5 years now. In August of this year my son was put on hospice. He was unable to do school work or leave home for a while. As a single mom, and his caregiver I had to take time off work via FLMA- unpaid medical leave. Jacob Way reached out to us and sent us a gift box containing some fun items and games as well as a visa gift card for food and gas. It is acts of generosity and kindness like this that make it possible for me to be with my son. Thank you Jacob Way!

On August 29th 2023 my daughter Serenity lost her battle to T Cell Lymphoma. I applied for assistance to help pay for my daughter's funeral and they responded quickly and were at my door with help and support within days. Thank you so much Jacob's Way for helping at such short notice and thank you for all that you do . God Bless you all and Look forward to connecting more with your program and helping in any way I can.

I reached out to Jacobs way, I didn't get an answer but I left a voicemail and they called me right back it wasnt to long after when I got a notification saying that my care package and other help was on the way I was able to get the things we needed and really appreciate the help

Thank you so much for this care package. We were in need of gas for my son's upcoming doctor visit. This gift came at the perfect time

Thanks for having us we really enjoyed it and also enjoyed the people giving us words of encouraging and hugs we really needed that and really needed to be in a positive space
