About Us.

Who We Are

Welcome to Jacob Way, a children’s charity built on love. We advocate for childhood cancer by providing financial and home support for families in need of a break. Childhood cancer awareness requires continuous research for up-to-date treatment plans — treatment for progressive osteosarcoma is especially close to our hearts.

Our Story

Just 77 days after his diagnosis, we lost our dear Jacob  — just 14 years old — to progressive osteosarcoma. He was a man with no fear, a true fighter, and a hero whose memory will live forever in our hearts and through the lives he touches through this foundation. Jacob is our shining star, gone from this world too soon.

His positive outlook never dwindled throughout treatment, and he never complained or crumbled, always sporting the same contagious smile. Even during his treatment, he lived every day as a celebration and would appease his parents’ concerns by reassuring them that “everything is going to be perfectly fine.”

On July 29, 2022, Jacob transitioned to heaven. About a week beforehand, he expressed joy to his mother because he knew God had healed and forgiven him for his sins. From that day forward, Jacob’s mother understood his purpose — helping other children fighting cancer get through the storm.
